O’Hare International Airport
The Airport Transit System at O’Hare International Airport provides fast transfer service between the domestic terminals, the new International Terminal and economy parking lots. From there, you’ll find Chicago offers several ways to get to your hotel or ProMat 2013.

Midway Airport
Midway Airport is located 20 minutes from Downtown. Vehicle pick-up services are available in the main lobby at the center entrance to the airport.

Airfares
Delta Air Lines is pleased to offer special discounted airfares for MHI events. Reservations and ticketing is available via www.delta.com. When booking online, select Meeting Event Code and enter the meeting code (NMFAD) in the box provided on the Search Flight page.

Reservations may also be made by calling our Delta Meeting reservations at 800-328-1111 Mon-Fri 7:30am-7:30pm CDT, mention event code NMFAD. You may also call your Travel Agent for booking and refere to event code NMFAD.

There is a $25 service fee for booking via our 800 number. Online booking is free! This discount will vary based on the booking class, availability and departure location. A discount is valid only for the travel dates over this program.

Shuttle Bus Service
Complimentary shuttle busses will run between McCormick Place South and all designated ProMat 2013 Show hotels from January 21 - 24, 2013. A new busway built exclusively for convention shuttles will significantly reduce travel time at rush hour. Buses will run from 7:00am - 11:00am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm on three designated routes. Bus schedules will be posted at McCormick Place and in each hotel.

ProMat Shuttle Buses to and from Chicago Amtrak Stations
ProMat 2013 will offer Courtesy Shuttle Bus Service From Amtrak Rail Stations to McCormick Place. Go to Amtrak / Union, Canal Street Station under the canopy. A shuttle will run at 9:00 am and at 10:00 am. A shuttle will also run from Ogilvie, Madison Street Station at 9:10 am and at 10:10 am on Monday through Thursday.

Return shuttles from McCormick Place to Amtrak / Union Station and Ogilvie Station will be at 4:00 pm and at 5:30 pm Monday through Wednesday and at 3:00 pm and at 4:30 pm Thursday at Gate 1.

METRA Chicao-Area Commuter Trains
The METRA train runs north and south from two downtown Chicago stations - Randolph Street and Van Buren Street to the McCormick Place Station. And, it's only a 7-minute trip! When leaving McCormick Place, even if your hotel is beyond walking distance to a downtown station, use METRA, and catch a taxi from either train station to your destination. Tickets can be purchased at the two downtown Chicago stations. The McCormick Place Station is located on Level 2.5 off the Grand Concourse, near the main entrance to McCormick Place. Train
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) -- The rapid transit train between downtown (Dearborn Street subway) and O’Hare takes just 40 minutes and costs $2.25 or less. Follow overhead signs that read “Trains to the City” to the CTA station between Terminals 2 and 3 (Blue Line).

Shuttle Van
GO Airport Express is Chicago's official shared ride shuttle provider and premier all-purpose ground transportation provider for Chicago's O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) Airports to Downtown Chicago Hotels, Venues and Convention Centers including McCormick Place.GO Airport Express provides efficient and economical shared ride shuttle services with vans depart from O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) Airports every 15 minutes to and from Downtown Chicago. Look for ticket counters across from baggage claim areas.

Upon arrival at O’Hare Airport
Shuttles depart from O’Hare airport every 10-15 minutes for downtown service to Chicago hotels, downtown businesses, near north residential locations, and suburban locations. Loading zones for boarding the Airport Express shuttle are at Terminal 1 by Door E (United Airlines), Terminal 2 by Door C (Continental, US Airways, Northwest, Air Canada), Terminal 3 by Door E (Alaska, American, Delta, Iberia) and Terminal 5 outside Door D (International Airlines) across from baggage claim on the Baggage Claim level. At the international terminal we are located just outside Door 1E which is just outside of baggage claim and Customs. The last Airport Express van leaves O’Hare at 11:30 pm seven nights a week.

Airport Express Ticket Counters for purchasing tickets are located at Door 1E, Door 2D, Door 3E and Door 5D lower level across from baggage claim on the Baggage Claim level.

Upon arrival at Midway Airport
Shuttles depart from Midway airport every 15 minutes for downtown service to Chicago hotels, downtown businesses and north and south suburban residential locations. The airport express ticket counter and loading zone is located at Door 3 (Southwest Airlines), lower level across from baggage claim. Reservations from Midway to downtown are not necessary.

Taxi
A ride between O’Hare and Downtown/The Loop takes about 30 minutes and costs between $25 and $30. You can Share A Ride for $15. Taxis pick up fares on the lower level of each airport terminal.

Car Rental
You can pick up a hospitality shuttle van on the lower level of each airport terminal.

Directions

From Indiana via the SKYWAY:
Take the Indiana Tollway, I-90 West, to the Chicago Skyway, to the local traffic lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway, I-94, West to the Stevenson Expressway, I-55, North to Lake Shore Drive South, and follow the signs to McCormick Place.

From Indiana via I-80/I-94
Exit I-80/I-94 on the Bishop Ford Expressway and proceed to the Dan Ryan expressway, I-94 West to the Stevenson Expressway, I-55, North to Lake Shore Drive South, and follow the signs to McCormick Place.

From the north, northwest or O’Hare airport
Take the Edens expressway, I-94, East to the Kennedy Expressway, I-90, East to the Dan Ryan expressway, I-94 East. Continue East on the Dan Ryan, keeping to the right, exit North on the Stevenson Expressway, I-55, to Lake Shore Drive South and follow the signs to McCormick Place.

From the northwest or O’Hare airport
Take the Northwest Tollway, I-90, East to the Kennedy/Dan Ryan, I-94, East to the Stevenson expressway, North, I-55, to Lake Shore Drive South and follow the signs to McCormick Place.

From the west
Take the Eisenhower expressway, I-290, East to the Dan Ryan, I-94, East. Keep to the right and exit on the Stevenson Expressway, I-55 North. Proceed to Lake Shore Drive South and follow the signs to McCormick Place.

From the south
Take the local traffic lanes on I-94 West, the Bishop Ford Expressway, to the Dan Ryan, I-94, West to the Stevenson expressway, I-55 North to Lake Shore Drive South and follow signs to McCormick Place.

From the southwest or Midway airport
Take the Stevenson, I-55, North to Lake Shore Drive South and follow the signs to McCormick Place.

Public Transportation
The Chicago Transit Authority, (CTA) provides the following bus service to the McCormick Place Complex. Public transportation is a safe and inexpensive way to commute. For details on schedules, fare and routes, please contact the CTA at 312/836-7000.

From downtown Chicago
Take either the # 3 King Drive Bus or the # 4 Cottage Grove Bus directly to McCormick Place.

From Union Station
From the corner of Canal St. and Jackson Blvd., take the # 1 Indiana Bus to Michigan Avenue, obtain a transfer, then transfer to either the # 3 King Drive Bus or the # 4 Cottage Grove Bus to McCormick Place.

From the Northwestern Station
From the Washington Street exit, take any bus to Michigan Avenue, obtain a transfer, then take either the # 3 King Drive bus or the # 4 Cottage Grove Bus to McCormick Place. Metra Electric Trains also stop at 23rd Street and King Drive. For Schedules and information, please call 312/322-6777.

Parking

There are two main parking lots on the McCormick Place campus. All are managed by Standard Parking and are in close proximity and walking distance to the convention complex. Events in Lakeside Center and Arie Crown Theater designate Lot C as the primary parking location, while events in the North and South Buildings designate Lot A garage as the primary parking location.

Lot C is an underground garage with 1,900 parking spaces and is located on Ft. Dearborn Drive, adjacent to the Lakeside Center. Lot A is a six level garage with an adjacent surface lot and is located directly across from the Grand Concourse/Gate 4. Covered walkways from Lot A leading directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel also provide added convenience.
