Chicago – Bastian Solutions, a global material handling and robotics systems integrator, will debut its latest innovations at ProMat 2017, April 3-6 in Chicago, booth S3646.
New technologies showcased will include:
Mobile robotic order picking
ZiPline shoe sorter
Augmented reality picking
Virtual reality system walk-through

Within the Bastian Solutions ProMat booth, attendees will have much to see and experience. On one end will be a sortation loop featuring the company’s ZiPline shoe sorter, ZiPline T-Rex transfers, and robotic document inserter.
The center of the booth will feature multiple interactive experiences. Attendees can try on a virtual reality headset and be immersed in a material handling system environment. Also on hand will be an augmented reality head set, allowing attendees to pick from carton flow rack and place into a tote retrieved by an Adept AIV.
Bastian Solutions will also showcase its order picking robot and ROGUE composite pallet. The mobile robot system will be running throughout the show, demonstrating picking and placing of individual products, while the composite pallet team will be on hand to discuss why ROGUE pallets are the future of warehouse storage.
