What You Will Learn

This seminar will cover all types of sortation conveyors. You’ll learn how the material handling industry moves product around a facility with more basic sortation (transfers and pushers), mid-level sortation (belt sorters and narrow belt sorters), and high-rate sortation (sliding shoe sorters). We’ll take a look at which types of product work best on the various sortation conveyors and see what industries are most relevant to the various models. We’ll also take a look at loop sorters, which are high-rate bi-directional sortation conveyors. Loop sorters have three basic configurations and we’ll cover each: tilt tray, cross belt, and Bombay.

Key Takeaways

• Basic understanding of sortation conveyors of all levels
• A deeper look into loop sorters, a unique solution for all types of product (even those difficult to convey on other sorters)
