Important Information for International Travelers

International travelers who are seeking to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program are now subject to enhanced security requirements. Click here for more information.

In addition, international attendees need to be aware of other important changes from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that will affect international travelers to the United States. Details of these changes and how they will impact you can be found at www.dhs.gov/US-VISIT.

Visa Information

If you require a U.S. Visa to enter the United States to participate in ProMat please be aware that the process to obtain a visa may take four months or more so it is not too early to start. For Visa information, go to travel.state.gov. If you would like to request an invitation letter for Visa purposes, email cmoose@mhi.org or call 704-676-1190.

International Visitors Center

As an international visitor to ProMat 2013, a number of services will be available to make your visit a productive and rewarding experience. The International Visitors Center will provide the following services:

• Translators to answer your questions
• Private meeting rooms
• U.S. Department of Commerce international trade experts to answer your import/export questions
• International Matchmaker Program access to match you to the exhibitors offering the products and services you need
• Lounge area
